THE CHURCH

 

 

We are a spirit filled multi-ethnic community of believers who loves the Lord Jesus Christ,

committed to love one another and dedicated to be a blessing to the nations.

 

Bereka is a Hebrew word meaning "Blessing".  Bereka Church was conceived in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit was poured out into the hearts of the men and women who were thirsty for the living water and hungry for the living bread. Their desire to know more of God and to experience the resurrected power of Jesus Christ, compelled them to go forward into their spiritual journey with the Lord and to possess their inheritance in Christ Jesus. Their common desire and common experienced in the reality of the Holy Spirit. The presence of God has overshadowed them, the grace of God is upon them and God’s blessing is overflowing like a mighty river.

 

After a series of house to house prayer meeting and bible study fellowship. The group decided to have a regular Sunday worship service. Last May 3rd, 2009, ninety five people gathered together to worship God in spirit and in truth. Behold! Bereka Church was born! Their spiritual revival and their passion to grow in their relationship with God has catapulted them into a higher level of worship and into a deeper understanding of God’s purpose for the Church. Bereka Church has a destiny in the purpose of God over the nations. Bereka Church has been called to be a blessing to the nations and a conduit of God’s love, power and grace. Therefore the vision of Bereka Church is to live a blessed life, abundantly, victoriously, supernaturally and to equip to do the work of the ministry and to send them out into the nations of the world.
